Frequently Asked Questions

  • The process begins with an inquiry submitted online or by phone. Then, you’ll be invited to a brief introductory call with Dr. Quaratella to discuss your goals and needs. If your concerns seem like a good fit for the practice, we can proceed in scheduling an intake evaluation.

Before your visit, you’ll complete electronic intake forms to allow for a focused and efficient session. The initial evaluation includes a comprehensive review of your history and current concerns, followed by the development of a personalized care plan.

    • Women navigating hormonal transitions (PMDD, postpartum, menopause)

    • Athletes balancing performance and mental health

    • Professionals experiencing anxiety, burnout, or loss of clarity

  • This is an out-of-network practice. Many patients choose this model for greater flexibility, privacy, and depth of care. A superbill can be provided for potential reimbursement.

  • Frequency depends on your needs, goals, and where you are in treatment.
Some patients are seen more regularly during periods of transition, and less frequently once stable.

Your care is designed to be responsive rather than one-size-fits-all.

  • With training in both medication management and psychotherapy, Dr. Quaratella offers streamlined, comprehensive mental health care. However, for those already established with a therapist, she is happy to provide collaborative medication management.

  • Care is individualized and collaborative, with an emphasis on creating a setting that feels comfortable and conversational rather than overly clinical.

My approach is often described as feeling more like a conversation in a coffee shop than a traditional medical appointment, while still maintaining clinical depth and rigor.

I am transparent about diagnosis and treatment decisions, and care is guided by both evidence and respect for patient autonomy. We work together to understand options and choose an approach that aligns with your goals.

The goal is not just symptom improvement, but helping you feel like yourself again and function well in a sustainable way.

  • Dr. Quaratella offers a limited number of in-person appointments in Denver, alongside virtual care for patients across Colorado, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and New York.
