Meet Dr. Q
Dr. Q is a board-certified adult psychiatrist treating all psychiatric conditions with specialized expertise in OCD, sports psychiatry, and women’s mental health. She provides virtual psychiatric care to adults in Colorado, Connecticut, Massachusetts, New York, and Rhode Island.
Dr. Q earned her undergraduate degree from Yale University, where she was a three-season Division I athlete, and went on to complete her medical degree at Brown University. After medical school, she relocated from her home state of Rhode Island to Colorado to complete her residency in psychiatry at the University of Colorado. There, she served as chief resident and pursued focused training in reproductive psychiatry through the program’s Reproductive Psychiatry Concentration.
Dr. Q has extensive experience supporting patients through times of hormonal transitions, including preconception, pregnancy, the postpartum period, menstrual cycle, and perimenopause. She also serves as the Clinical Director of Fertility Wellness Services at Intent Clinical, a concierge mental health organization based in Boston.
As a former Division I athlete at Yale, Dr. Q understands the unique mental health needs of athletes and the fear that treatment may impact performance. She works collaboratively to strengthen mental health without compromising competitive excellence.
Blending medication management with psychotherapy, Dr. Q offers streamlined, comprehensive mental health care. For those already established with a therapist, she is happy to provide collaborative medication management. Her approach emphasizes individualized treatment that is welcoming and collaborative, designed to feel more like a coffee shop than a traditional medical office.
Philosophy
In pairing empathy and expertise, I customize treatment to reflect the uniqueness of your personal experience. My evidence-based practice prioritizes the highest quality, targeted treatment for patients at all phases of their mental health journey. I incorporate a holistic approach that considers the importance of lifestyle interventions in addition to medication management and therapy.
